PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Computers and Windows courses. Some Internet experience and the ability to use basic Windows skills with a minimum of help.

DESCRIPTION: Course covers not only how to maintain a computer but information on down-loadable Virus Websites, how to get rid of pop-ups, spy protection sites, how to avoid losing hard drive documents and how to retrieve them, how to delete unnecessary files, and locate the latest critical protection devices. In addition the course will show how to use most of the maintenance functions built into Windows XP.

We will register 17 students in this course that meets 2 hrs. once a week for 8 weeks.
